Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs.
The Cincinnati Reds stopped the Chicago Cubs, 5-4, at Great American Ball Park. The Reds got a big game from Jesus Sanchez, who was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Jeremiah Estrada snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.1 innings. He's now 5-4 on the season.
Sanchez had a timely hit for Cincinnati in the bottom of the sixth. With Cincinnati trailing 4-3, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 28th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Cincinnati.
Sanchez called it "a solid win."
Cincinnati is 76-80 and Chicago, with the loss, 92-64.
