The Colorado Rockies got a good effort from starter Shane McClanahan in defeating the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The final score was 4-1. The Rockies improved their record to 91-66 by beating Seattle.

Colorado used the timely hitting of Eugenio Suárez to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rockies on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"My job is to go out and execute," said McClanahan.
