Though he had a stellar game, J.P. Crawford could not prevent his team, the Los Angeles Angels, from losing, 5-4, to the Houston Astros. Crawford went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Houston reliever Gabe Speier picked up the win to move to 5-1. Carlos Estevez suffered the loss. Houston is now 81-76, Los Angeles 75-82.

Teoscar Hernández was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd went nuts," Hernández said.
