Rangers Suffer One-Run Loss at Oakland
Oakland Athletics pitcher Nick Lodolo was in fine form, leading his team past the Texas Rangers, 1-0. Ken Waldichuk notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 4-2. Clay Holmes got the save, his 18th in 20 chances.

Oakland took a 1-0 lead on Jose Siri's 31st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Siri hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Texas pitcher Reiss Knehr visibly frustrated.

"Nick made some big pitches when he needed to," said Athletics manager Brad P.

The win gives Oakland a season record of 83-75.
