Cleveland turned a fine outing from starter Paul Skenes into a victory over the Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field. The final score was 4-2. Enyel De Los Santos was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 16 of 21 save opportunities. Cleveland is now 82-77, while Detroit is 98-61.

The Guardians got a big at-bat from second baseman Gunnar Henderson. For the game, Henderson went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 11th double of the season gave Cleveland a 3-0 lead.
