Giants Hand Colorado 5-3 Loss
|
Michael A. Taylor helped his team muscle past the Colorado Rockies, 5-3. In the game, the San Francisco center fielder went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Matthew Boyd got the save, his 1st in 1 chances. San Francisco is now 89-73, while Colorado is 93-69.
The Giants got a big hit from right fielder Sal Frelick. Facing Colorado pitcher Zack Littell in the bottom of the fifth, Frelick pounded a run-scoring triple to right. His 5th triple of the season put the Giants ahead, 3-1.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Colorado manager Bobby S.
