Los Angeles used a well-timed hit by Lane Thomas to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Angels ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Garcia.
