Guardians Pick Up 8-2 Win Against Texas
Cleveland pitcher Jon Gray did his part in helping his team beat the Texas Rangers, 8-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win for the Guardians raised their record to 84-78.

Johan Rojas had a big solo home run for the Guardians in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cleveland leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a sinker from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Hayden Wesneski and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Guardians on top, 3-1.

"Jon is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Cleveland manager Paul B.
