Carpenter Whacks 2 Home Runs in 10-5 Win
Kerry Carpenter helped his team muscle past the Toronto Blue Jays, 10-5. In the game, the Baltimore left fielder went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. Baltimore pitcher Bryce Elder earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Max Scherzer suffered the loss. The Orioles, now 4-0, have stormed out of the gates.

Baltimore relied on the hitting of Andy Ibanez to pick up the win. The designated hitter ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Orioles on top, 8-4. For the game, Ibanez had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
