Despite a great performance by Chicago center fielder Julio Rodriguez, the Houston Astros defeated the Cubs by the score of 7-6 at Minute Maid Park. Rodriguez went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The loss makes Chicago 4-4.

The Astros got a clutch hit from center fielder Alek Thomas. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Astros.

"We'll take this win and move on," said Thomas.
