The Houston Astros extended their winning streak.

The Toronto Blue Jays got a sterling performance from pitcher Pablo Lopez, but the Houston Astros still prevailed, 6-3. Lopez threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. Andrew Kittredge got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. Picking up the save was 29-year old right-handed pitcher Hunter Harvey.

Christian Walker had a big 3-run home run for the Astros in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Houston trailing 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Pablo Lopez and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Astros on top, 4-3.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Walker said.

Toronto drops to 0-6.
