Taylor Shines, But Giants Fall Short
Los Angeles and San Francisco duked it out and the Angels came out victorious.

The Los Angeles Angels withstood an impressive performance by San Francisco center fielder Michael A. Taylor to defeat the Giants, 7-4, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Taylor was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The loss has the Giants at 4-2.

Roberto Perez aided the Los Angeles cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Perez.
