Tampa Bay picked up a win at Globe Life Field, bumping off the Texas Rangers, 4-3. Pitcher Erick Fedde was a major reason the Rays emerged victorious. The save went to Yennier Cano, his 3rd this season. With the loss, Texas drops to 3-5.

Abraham Toro came through with a big-time hit for Tampa Bay. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Texas manager Brian O.
