The Arizona Diamondbacks got a stellar performance from pitcher Gavin Williams, who handcuffed the Baltimore offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Chase Field. JoJo Romero picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Packy Naughton suffered the loss. The win gives Arizona a record of 9-4.

Arizona got a clutch hit from MJ Melendez. The pinch hitter launched a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.
