Extra-Inning Win by Rockies Over Brewers
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Colorado Rockies and the Milwaukee Brewers, 26-year old right-handed pitcher Bryce Miller was the difference-maker. The Colorado right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win in 10 innings. The win was credited to 35-year old right-handed pitcher Raisel Iglesias in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Kyle Finnegan took the loss. With the loss, Milwaukee falls to 6-7.
Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, two-time All-Star Brandon Lowe had a chance to be the hero. Milwaukee pitcher Kyle Finnegan wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Lowe hit a sacrifice fly. The Rockies had themselves a thrilling win.
"Bryce was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Colorado manager Bobby S.
