The Los Angeles Dodgers turned back the Chicago Cubs, 4-3, at Dodger Stadium. Derek Hill, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Luis Severino. His record now stands at 2-1. The right-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Dodgers. The loss makes Chicago 13-5.

Los Angeles grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Hill hit a 2-run home run off Tyler Wells. His 5th home run of the season put the Dodgers out in front, 4-2.
