Sale Schools Colorado in 3-2 San Diego Triumph

The San Diego Padres locked up a win at Petco Park, knocking off the Colorado Rockies, 3-2. On the mound for San Diego was left-hander Chris Sale. He played a major role in the triumph. Ryan Walker was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. San Diego, now 6-10, is off to a slow start.
Sale, a native of Lakeland, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept Colorado hitters off-balance, while giving the Padres 8 quality innings. Sale threw 86 pitches, allowing 4 hits and striking out 9.
"Chris just settled in and did what he does," said San Diego manager Matt O.
