The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cleveland Guardians, 6-4, with major props going to right fielder Tyler O'Neill. On the day, O'Neill went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Pirates. Pittsburgh reliever J.B. Wendelken picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jose Leclerc was saddled with the loss. The loss drops Cleveland to 11-8.

Pittsburgh got a knockout punch from Ben Rice. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said O'Neill.
