Framber Valdez pitched well, but the Houston Astros still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. Bryse Wilson snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-1 on the season. Framber Valdez suffered the loss. Houston drops to 9-11.

Michael Busch had a big run-scoring double for the Brewers in the bottom of the first inning. With Milwaukee leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Framber Valdez, who finished 2nd in the AL in wins with 16 last year, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Brewers ahead, 2-0.

"We were in it," said Houston manager Logan F. "We just didn't score enough runs."
