Grisham Hits 2 home runs in Mariners Win
Seattle took on Boston in front of a lively crowd.

The timely hitting of Trent Grisham helped the Seattle Mariners down the Boston Red Sox, 9-2. Grisham went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4 for the Mariners. Reliever Spencer Turnbull picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Tanner Houck, who is tied for 9th in the AL in innings pitched with 35.0, took the loss.

Kyle Schwarber hit a bases-clearing double off Tanner Houck in the top of the second, which put the Mariners in front, 3-0. In addition to the double, Schwarber had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"I really like what we did out there today," Schwarber said after the game.

The loss drops Boston to 14-13.
