Texas Slaps 5-3 Loss on San Francisco
|
Nick Loftin was a major contributor to the 5-3 Texas win over San Francisco. The Rangers second baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Texas pitcher Blake Burkhalter earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Nabil Crismatt suffered the loss. Edwin Uceta earned the save for Texas, his 4th.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth. That's when Loftin hit a 3-run home run off Nabil Crismatt. It propelled the Rangers into the lead, 5-2.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Loftin.
Texas goes to 12-14.
