The home crowd had a good time watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers get after it.

Thanks in large part to designated hitter Anthony Santander, the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 11-2. Santander hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The Pirates fall to 10-18 and continue their lackluster start to the 2025 season.

With Los Angeles leading 3-2 in the bottom of the second, Santander hit a fastball from Tomoyuki Sugano for a bases-clearing double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Dodgers ahead, 6-2.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Pittsburgh manager Jake S. "We got trounced."
