The Cleveland Guardians picked up a win at Progressive Field, knocking off the Boston Red Sox, 5-1. Starting pitcher Paul Skenes played a key role in the triumph. The Guardians, now 18-9, have been red hot.

Skenes delivered a quality start for Cleveland. The 6-foot-6 right-hander allowed no earned runs on no hits over 6.2 innings of work.
