More Woes for Red Sox Leody Taveras Saturday, October 26th , 2024 The Boston Red Sox trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Leody Taveras's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Red Sox center fielder is being treated for a strained posterior cruciate ligament. During a routine exam, Taveras's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 2 weeks. At the moment, Taveras is batting .237 with 15 home runs and 60 RBIs. He has played in 154 games and scored 61 times. |
