Injury Setback for Cubs Gausman Friday, August 29th , 2025 The Chicago Cubs trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Kevin Gausman's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Cubs starting pitcher is being treated for back spasms. During a routine exam, Gausman's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another one week. This year, Gausman has compiled a 13-6 record with a 3.50 ERA in 30 starts. |
