Rooker Cops NL Batter of the Month Honors Monday, September 1st , 2025 Brent Rooker, the Cincinnati first baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .297 batting average with 30 hits, 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 20 times. That kind of hitting earned him the National League Batter of the Month honors for August. This season, Rooker has 34 home runs and a .268 batting average. |
