Gauthier Wins AL Best Player Award Monday, September 15th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Austin Gauthier was in a class by himself in the American League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Houston tagged opposing pitchers for a .529 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award.
