Rehab Setback for Kevin Kelly Saturday, September 20th , 2025 Things have gotten worse for Kevin Kelly of the Houston Astros. The 27-year-old reliever will not be back as soon as originally expected. Kelly is undergoing treatment for a strained oblique, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least one week. An unidentified team official told BNN, "Kevin tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback." Kelly has taken the hill for 63 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 4-3 record with a 3.63 ERA. The Houston reliever has limited opposing batters to a .248 batting average. |
