Lowe Batters Washington Big Time

Nathaniel Lowe was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Nationals Park, the Chicago first baseman blistered the Washington Nationals for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 16-7 victory.
"Lowe was too tough to get out," Nationals skipper Shane S said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Nathaniel Lowe grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Michael Lorenzen in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Erik Miller in the 9th.
Lowe is batting .289 with 26 home runs and 88 RBIs this season.
