Alvarez Takes AL's Best Bat Award Wednesday, October 1st , 2025 Francisco Alvarez may be much younger than other hitters in the American League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Chicago catcher hit .381 with 12 home runs, 26 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Currently Alvarez is hitting .269 and has collected 40 home runs, 109 RBIs and scored 80 times, while playing in 137 games. |
