5-Hit Blitz by Gelof Tuesday, June 24th , 2025 Seattle second baseman Zack Gelof had a big day at Target Field against the Minnesota Twins. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-7 and led to the 10-8 Mariners triumph over Minnesota. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Gelof said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Zack Gelof struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tyler Glasnow in the 5th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th, flied out in the 10th and hit an RBI double in the 13th.
