Pittsburgh Starting Pitcher Rated Best Rookie Tuesday, July 1st , 2025 Pitcher Brant Hurter of the Pittsburgh Pirates was the outstanding rookie in the National League last month and today the league selected him as the Rookie of the Month trophy winner. In June his record was 4-1 with a 3.98 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 40.2 innings. This season, Hurter has a 8-7 record with a 3.83 ERA in 17 starts. |
