Los Angeles-Chicago Announce Swap Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Los Angeles and Chicago have agreed in principle to a trade. The Angels will send 30-year old RF Seiya Suzuki and 28-year old RHP Bryan Abreu to the White Sox for 28-year old LF Eloy Jimenez. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. For the year, Suzuki has hit at a .259 clip with 48 RBIs, 21 home runs and 60 runs scored. So far this season, Jimenez is hitting .278 with 2 home runs. |
