McMahon Stretches Hit String to 20 Wednesday, April 23rd , 2025 Ryan McMahon collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Arizona Diamondbacks, beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-5. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," McMahon quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Ryan McMahon hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. So far this season, McMahon is hitting .292 with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 96 at-bats and a .349 OBP. |
