Playoffs? No Chance for Pittsburgh Wednesday, September 11th , 2024 It certainly could have been worse this year for the Pittsburgh Pirates, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the 3rd time in a row that the Pirates have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2021. |
