Tatis Raps 3 HR Against Orioles Saturday, September 21st , 2024 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Fernando Tatis had an outstanding day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the Detroit Tigers, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Tigers fell to the Baltimore Orioles, 7-5. Tatis had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 25-year-old right fielder banged out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 3 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Tigers were not able to hold off the Orioles. "Baseball is a funny game," Tatis said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Fernando Tatis hit a solo-shot off Andrew Heaney in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Andrew Heaney in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dane Acker in the 8th. In 2024 Tatis has hit at a .282 clip with 168 hits, 38 home runs, 111 RBIs and has scored 93 times. |
