Postseason Bid Ends for Baltimore Sunday, September 22nd , 2024 The dream of lifting a championship banner above the home field of the Baltimore Orioles has been extinguished, at least for 2024. The club was formally eliminated from playoff contention today. Asked to comment on the news, Orioles manager Doc D issued a one-word statement, which cannot be printed by BNN. Baltimore hasn't yet made it to the postseason. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 4 seasons in the MLB. |
