Walker Belts 3 HR for Blue Jays Tuesday, September 24th , 2024 Fans are still buzzing after Toronto whipped the Boston Red Sox by the score of 6-1 at Rogers Centre. Jordan Walker smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, had 3 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Walker said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Walker said. "Three is just... wow." Jordan Walker hit a solo-shot off Ben Lively in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ben Lively in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Andrew Chafin in the 8th. To date this season, Walker is hitting .282 with 34 home runs. |
