Alexander Brilliant, Fans 15 Friday, September 12th , 2025 Everything was working for Tyler Alexander at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The fastball was working. In an unforgettable performance, the 31-year-old Alexander fanned 15 Travelers and sparked the 8-0 San Antonio Missions victory over Arkansas. He left Travelers hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said San Antonio manager . "His location and command were really something." In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 7 innings, Alexander allowed 2 hits and no walks in a superlative outing. "I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Alexander said with a smile. To date this year, Alexander has compiled a 12-8 mark with a 4.10 ERA in 28 starts. |
