Hit Streak Now at 32 for Romero Monday, June 23rd , 2025 With 1 hit at Whataburger Field, Mikey Romero added another game to his hitting streak -- the Arkansas second baseman has now hit safely for 32 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Travelers, as they fell, 10-2, to the Corpus Christi Hooks. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Corpus Christi manager said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Mikey Romero grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Romero is batting .364 with 10 home runs and 26 RBIs this season. |
