Romero Boosts Hit Streak to 34 Games Wednesday, June 25th , 2025 Mikey Romero of the Arkansas Travelers tagged 2 hits in today's 6-5 loss to the Amarillo Sod Poodles at Hodgetown to run his hitting streak to 34 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 34-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Mikey Romero singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this year, Romero is batting .366 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
