Hit Streak for Romero Reaches 35 Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Mikey Romero, second baseman for the Arkansas Travelers, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 35 games with 2 hits in his club's 7-3 victory over the Tulsa Drillers at ONEOK Field. "Not the outcome we wanted," Tulsa manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Mikey Romero struck out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Posting a .369 batting average to date, Romero has 10 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
