AA C's Top Hitter Selected Monday, July 1st , 2024 Chase DeLauter may be much younger than other hitters in the Double-A Central, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in June to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Midland left fielder hit .379 with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This season, DeLauter has delivered 106 hits in 277 at-bats for a .383 average with 9 home runs. He is getting on base at a .429 clip and his totals also include 61 RBIs and 47 runs scored. This year DeLauter has played in 72 games. |
