Kannapolis Beats Columbia 4-1, Unknown Ks 15 Wednesday, May 8th , 2024 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jim Unknown, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers topped the Columbia Fireflies by a score of 4-1 at Segra Park. The 21-year-old Unknown brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 3 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Fireflies manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
