15 Ks for Unknown, Beats Delmarva 3-1 Sunday, May 12th , 2024 Jim Unknown of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers put on a pitching clinic at Atrium Health Ballpark, as he struck out 15 Delmarva Shorebirds in a 3-1 victory. Unknown was simply magnificent, holding the Shorebirds to 4 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Unknown said, "but eventually my sinker really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Unknown's performance, Cannon Ballers manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." |
