Red Sox Unknown Strikes out 16 Tuesday, April 22nd , 2025 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jim Unknown, the Salem Red Sox topped the Charleston RiverDogs by a score of 2-0 at Haley Toyota Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark. The 22-year-old Unknown brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 4 hits and giving up 1 walk. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," RiverDogs manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
