Unknown Fans 15 Mudcats Tuesday, September 3rd , 2024 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Jim Unknown, the Salem Red Sox topped the Carolina Mudcats by a score of 6-1 at Five County Stadium. The 24-year-old Unknown brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 5 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Mudcats manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
