RiverDogs Win Round 1 Saturday, September 14th , 2024 The Charleston RiverDogs have advanced to the Round 2, with a 2-1 triumph at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park over the Fredericksburg Nationals. The win sealed a 4-1 series win for Charleston. The series MVP honor went to RiverDogs center fielder Jim Unknown. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Unknown said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Charleston RiverDogs will play against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers in the next round. Kannapolis had a bye in the Round 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
