Los Angeles and Texas duked it out and the Angels came out victorious.

Though he had a terrific game, Jarren Duran could not prevent his team, the Texas Rangers, from absorbing a loss. Los Angeles won the game, 6-5. Duran went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. Carlos Estevez earned his 10th save in 12 chances.

Los Angeles used a timely hit from Ronny Mauricio to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Angels ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Mauricio said.

The third-place Angels have won 4 consecutive games.
