Shuckers Rodriguez Strikes out 16 Wednesday, July 23rd , 2025 Biloxi Shuckers starter Elvin Rodriguez brought his best stuff to MGM Park against the Chattanooga Lookouts, striking out 16 batters in his club's 10-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 27-year-old Rodriguez gave up 1 hit in his 8.2 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." To this point in the season, Rodriguez shows a 8-4 record, 18 starts, 113.2 innings, 153 strikeouts and a 3.96 ERA. |
