DeLauter Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, August 19th , 2025 With 2 hits at Dickey-Stephens Park, Chase DeLauter added another game to his hitting streak -- the Midland right fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the RockHounds, as they fell, 9-4, to the Arkansas Travelers. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Arkansas manager said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Chase DeLauter flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. For the year, DeLauter is hitting .396 with 14 home runs. His stats include 71 runs batted in and 80 runs scored. |
